Network Technical Consultant – Travel/Remote
Seeking a skilled Network Technical Consultant to regularly travel to federal client sites domestically and internationally to assist in configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, designing, and consulting services for a major private cloud solution implementation and migration project.
Responsibilities
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network switches across multiple vendors.
Design and integrate cloud architecture with network design.
Implement VXLAN with EVPN and troubleshoot related issues.
Deploy and support NSX environments.
Perform routing tasks, including OSPF, BGP, and packet capture analysis.
Utilize Aruba Fabric Composer (AFC) and related Aruba technologies.
Support Juniper routing/switching and virtual firewall solutions.
Ensure compliance with DoD STIG and secure network operations.
Qualifications
Expert level in network design, routing, switching, and security.
Experience with Aruba CX, Juniper vSRX, NSX, and Aruba ClearPass.
Proficiency in VXLAN/EVPN, NAC, and NAC fabric composition.
Strong troubleshooting skills with packet capture and OSPF/BGP.
Active DoD Secret clearance required; ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI.
Current U.S. passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
