Credence is at the forefront of digital transformation, specializing in AI/ML technology to empower government agencies and enhance mission success for federal civilian, DOD, and military innovators and warfighters. We are supporting the Air Force by developing a forecasting dashboard powered by AI, initially released as an MVP in IL‑2 with plans to scale to IL‑4 on AWS. The product will feature chatbots, dashboards, alerts/notifications, and reports focusing on demand forecasting, inventory and stock issues, maintenance tracking, and data analysis.
Position Overview As a UI/UX Developer, you will work on engaging software projects that integrate UI/UX design with AI/ML, Data Fusion, Analytics, and Cloud technologies. You’ll collaborate closely with experienced professionals and make meaningful contributions to building user‑centric solutions.
Front‑End Development
Web Development Fundamentals: A solid foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, acquired through coursework and personal projects.
Responsive Design: Understanding responsive design principles and the ability to create web interfaces that adapt seamlessly to various screen sizes and devices.
Script Language Proficiency: Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, Ruby) to enhance web development capabilities and automate repetitive tasks.
UI/UX Awareness: Basic knowledge of UI and UX design principles and a willingness to learn more about creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
Dashboard Development
Dashboard Interest: A strong interest in designing and developing interactive dashboards to display data, metrics, and insights to users.
Data Visualization: Eagerness to explore data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) to create engaging charts, graphs, and data representations within dashboards.
Framework and Library Proficiency
JavaScript Basics: Familiarity with JavaScript basics and eagerness to dive deeper into JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Version Control: Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and willingness to collaborate on code projects.
Collaboration
Team Collaboration: Experience working in a collaborative work environment with designers, back‑end developers, and other team members to bring web projects to life and ensure seamless integration.
Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Mid‑Level: 3‑7 years of hands‑on experience in UI/UX design and development and/or
Senior Level: 10+ years of hands‑on experience in UI/UX design and development.
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain Federal Security Clearance required.
Strong problem‑solving skills and passion for software development, AI/ML, Data Fusion, Analytics, and Cloud technologies.
Strong foundation in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, SQL).
Must understand and be familiar with WCAG 2.1.
Proficient in tools such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins.
Strong foundation in cloud platforms and machine learning concepts is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
