is seeking a highly skilled

Software Engineer

for a contract to hire (6 months) for a position in Duluth, Georgia. This position is ideal for someone passionate about building scalable, user-centric applications that power the next generation of smart home and IoT solutions. This

Software Engineer

will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software across desktop, web, and mobile platforms. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, cloud-connected applications that integrate seamlessly with Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Rate Range:

$60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, and other factors.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Design and implement scalable software systems using modern development practices.

Create and maintain clear, well-documented code, diagrams, and technical documentation.

Conduct system analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements.

Participate in code reviews, version control, and issue tracking processes.

Support and mentor fellow engineers through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.

Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure solutions are extensible and maintainable.

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Experience:

5–7 years of professional software development experience.

Strong experience with cloud-based application development.

Familiarity with IoT protocols and cloud integration for Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth devices.

Solid understanding of networking concepts is a strong plus.

Experience with hybrid mobile development and native app platforms (Android/iOS) is beneficial.

Ability to read and collaborate on C++ codebases (coding not required).
