Clinical Research Site Budgets Manager Location: 100% remote, must work PST hours.

Type: Contract, 6 months.

Compensation: $75/hr - $80/hr.

Joule is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Site Budgets Manager to support one of our clients based in the Bay Area. This is a fully remote opportunity, offering the chance to work with a leading organization in the clinical research space.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in developing, negotiating, and managing investigator site budgets and clinical trial payments. Prior experience in oncology studies is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, negotiate, and manage investigator site budgets in alignment with study protocols and sponsor requirements.

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely budget execution.

Oversee site grant and payment management processes, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and timelines.

Support financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting related to site payments.

Maintain strong understanding of industry benchmarks and cost drivers influencing clinical trial budgeting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical trial budgeting and site payment management.

Proven expertise in negotiating investigator budgets.

Strong knowledge of grants management and financial operations within clinical research.

Oncology therapeutic area experience preferred.
