TAR Education in Motion provides sensory-focused, home and school based, one-on-one occupational therapy sessions to help children reach their goals and unlock their potential. Our services are available in Washington DC, Montgomery, as well as Arlington and Fairfax County. We also offer empowerment coaching for parents, caregivers, and professionals. Sessions are held at the family’s home or other requested locations.
Role Description This can be a 1099 or W2 role for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist located in the Fairfax or Arlington Area. The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will conduct sensory integration-focused therapy sessions, create individualized treatment plans, and provide early intervention services. The therapist will work closely with children and their families to support developmental goals, collaborate with other professionals, and maintain accurate documentation of sessions.
Qualifications
Sensory Integration and Occupational Therapy skills
Experience in Pediatrics and Early Intervention
Ability to work effectively with children and their families
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
Certification and licensure as an Occupational Therapist
CPR and First Aid Certification is a plus
Experience working in home-based therapy settings is preferred but not required
