Sr. M365 Engineer (PowerShell)
We are seeking a highly skilled Messaging Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph scripting, Exchange API scoping, and will be responsible for implementing and supporting automation in our messaging infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency within the messaging environment.
Utilize Microsoft Graph to integrate and manage various aspects of the messaging infrastructure.
Exchange API scopes for application integration.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration and operation of messaging systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to messaging services, ensuring high availability and performance.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members on PowerShell scripting and Graph usage.
Understand and manage mail flow, with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Exchange Online Protection (EOP) and Microsoft Defender.
Develop, implement, manage and monitor retention policies to ensure data is retained and disposed of in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Qualifications
Proven experience with PowerShell scripting in an M365 environment.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Graph and Exchange API and application of in managing messaging systems.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, and related technologies.
Knowledge of Microsoft Purview.
Knowledge of Microsoft Teams.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of Proofpoint for email security and data protection is desired.
Experience with other scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript is a plus.
Knowledge of networking and security principles as they relate to messaging systems.
Previous experience in a similar role within a large enterprise environment.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.
