Overview Schedule: Varies—will be discussed during interview. PRN—rotating holidays and weekends. Facility: St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital. Location: Chicago, IL 60622.

Responsibilities Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Responsibilities include positioning patient and equipment and producing an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound Program or current certificate.

RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in Physics and one specialty exam (AB, BR, FE, OB/GYN, or PS) to be completed within one year of hire and maintained throughout employment.

Previous experience preferred.

Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintained.

Proficient computer skills.

Pay Transparency St. Mary of Nazareth offers competitive compensation. The starting compensation estimate for this role is $44.00 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, based on skillset, years of experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
