As a Product Manager in Global Banking Platform (GBP), you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. You act as the voice of the customer, develop profitable products that provide customer value, guide launches, gather feedback, and ensure top‑tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality products that exceed customer expectations. You collaborate with Area Product Owners to understand product scope, requirements and launch strategies, and you engage with scrum teams early during the design phase.

Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Operations Product organization provides critical cross‑line of business support across JPMC and serves as one of the largest product portfolios in CCB, delivering value to millions of customers and over 30,000 employees. As a product team member, your problem‑solving skills will place you on the cutting edge of defining the vision, creating the strategy, and building the roadmap to solutions that impact millions. Job Responsibilities

Develop a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers.

Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.

Own, maintain, and develop a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.

Build the framework and track the product’s key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.

Support new feature requests / enhancement to existing features from product partners.

Coordinate with upstream and downstream teams to understand cross‑impacts for changes and document them.

Participate in the product discovery and demonstrate a strong understanding of core banking domain and GBP capabilities.

Influence quarterly planning in Jira/Jira Align, including CCB agile practices to scrum teams for efficient prioritization and delivery.

Engage with Line of Business Product teams to onboard products on Global Banking Platform (GBP), Legal & Compliance and Control teams on GBP deliveries/production issues, including GBP and Financial product.

Contribute meaningful, clear updates, and ensure release notes are shared for each GBP upgrade and/or enhancement.

Act as point of contact for GBP common capabilities, establishing appropriate communication levels across products and partnering applications, and proactively informing product partners of new capabilities and sharing the implementation/utilization of GBP capabilities with multiple products.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with deep understanding of APIs, events, and event‑driven architecture.

10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.

Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.

Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.

Proven 2+ years of experience in core banking domain.

Exposure to cloud, event‑driven architecture, and domain‑driven design.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and quality assurance methodologies.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.

Self‑motivated and proactive, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.

Proven 2+ years of experience in core banking domain, preferably in product management role.

Experience working in agile/scrum teams.

Strong knowledge of banking products including deposit accounts, loans, and card reward programs.
