Job Description
The CAS Information Technology department is seeking a Research Assistant with an active and current Federal Work Study (FWS) award.
Essential Functions
Assisting the team with organizational duties including but not limited to data, record, email and calendar management.
Assisting with updating computer workstations in CAS teaching labs.
Troubleshooting computer and software issues for staff and faculty.
Maintaining organizational operations in conjunction with the various teams.
Interacting with staff and faculty on a regular basis to complete projects.
Completing other duties and tasks as they arise.
Provide technical support for faculty, resolving issues across various systems, and reducing downtime.
Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring proper access and system functionality while maintaining security standards.
Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues, including system updates and configurations, improving overall system performance and user satisfaction.
Operating System imaging and cloning.
Position Type / Expected Hours Of Work
Student.
Federal Work Study.
Part-time.
10 hours per week.
Salary Range
$17.95 per hour.
