About this opportunity: Farmers Agency Owners are independent business owners responsible for all facets of their operations, including recruiting individuals to scale your agency, facilitating profitable sales growth, nurturing agency development, and supporting your agencies’ business achievements. You can also earn while you learn, with us: base salary and commissions, and the mentorship you need to be successful.

Qualifications

A drive for personal and financial achievement through meeting customer needs

A strong positive presence in their local community and the desire to make a positive impact in people’s lives

Demonstrated success driving business results (not limited to insurance or financial services)

Strong track record of professional success, ideally in external sales, business ownership or management roles

Key Requirements

Satisfactory results on a background check.

Attainment of Property, Casualty, (General Lines), Life, and Health licenses. (We also support the 6. 63. SIE and the Series 7 more but these are not required)

We also have a dynamic Medicare desk available and support the AHIP certification.

Successful completion of the University of Farmers® training program.

Path to Success Get your start as an insurance sales apprentice in our Farmers Insurance Agency Protege Program! (If you need the training in the industry.) Learn the tricks of the trade from the best in the business and get the mentorship you need to know how to sell, solicit, differentiate, and negotiate insurance plans to build your own book of business.

Start to earn as you learn from the very beginning with no prior insurance experience required! Just bring your drive, motivation, and eagerness to learn and grow in the role. Take the first step into a lucrative career in the insurance industry by applying today! Once you graduate from the program, (there are bonuses) you have choices to make.

Stay with the Agency and build a career there as a producer

Sign a Reserve Contract and begin to build a book of business that you own (There are aggressive Retail Bonuses for the first three years!)

Get introduced to Agents that are open to selling their book to you and work out the details with them. (and Yes, there are Bonuses)
