We are searching for a curious and creative Senior Product Designer with a focus on the visual and aesthetic side. You’ll join us on an exciting journey, exploring, co‑creating and validating future concepts of Klaviyo’s Design Language to make our products the best expression of our brand and ensuring our visual design is best in class. You’ll work with a team of dedicated engineers, product designers, brand designers, and cross‑functional partners to push Klaviyo’s user experience forward while adhering to the highest standards.

How You’ll Make a Difference

You will collaborate closely with product designers, engineers, brand designers, writers, and other stakeholders from around the company to set and uphold high standards for design.

Design visual experiences that unify and exemplify the design language.

Document, maintain, and evangelize the benefits of the Klaviyo Design System both internally and externally.

Transform workflows by putting AI at the center, building smarter systems and ways of working from the ground up.

Be the ambassador of the new design system and drive adoption by communicating strategy, plans, and milestones across the organization.

Highlight opportunities to use the system through design critiques, spec reviews, and team meetings.

What You’ll Need

Product design experience with an accompanying portfolio.

Experience designing and building durable design systems at scale within a large product organization.

Documentation of guidelines, standards, patterns, best practices and an understanding of WCAG standards.

Ability to create visually appealing and user‑friendly interfaces.

Strong understanding of design principles and user experience best practices.

You’ve already experimented with AI in work or personal projects, and you’re excited to dive in and learn fast. You’re hungry to responsibly explore new AI tools and workflows, finding ways to make your work smarter and more efficient.

Critical thinking and attention to detail when exploring solutions at a systematic level and a component level.

Strong visual design sense and appreciation for getting the details right.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers and designers to ship new features and components.

Base Pay Range for US Locations: $140,000—$210,000 USD. The total compensation package may include participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE), equity, sign‑on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
