Job Overview The Deployment Specialist I installs select Medication Management Solution products ensuring successful solution deployment and customer success through demonstration of clinical and technical proficiency. The candidate will establish collaborative relationships with cross‑functional project teams including solution deployment and customer teams. Projects range from installing a single product to multi‑product expansions.

Responsibilities

Complete deployment specialist training plans and demonstrate competency for the installation and support of BD Solution hardware and software.

Install specified equipment at customer sites, including build‑set up of hardware/software, training customer stakeholders and conduct go‑live activities.

Adhere to BD Medication Solutions product implementation methodologies and tools.

Provide problem solving, troubleshooting and system consultation as needed for clients.

Manage project escalations for favorable outcomes.

Complete internal company and project documentation timely.

Execute additional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree or a minimum of one year of relevant work experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).

Demonstrated emotional intelligence, self‑management, and teamwork.

Flexibility and resilience in ambiguous situations.

Valid driver’s license and compliance with BD auto safety standards.

Upon hire, provide proof of required immunizations (Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR, Varicella, TB/PPD, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis and any additional credentialing).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Experience in a healthcare environment with technical involvement and computerized system applications; dispensing software technology experience is a plus.

Exposure to clinical software applications, including BD Medication Solutions dispensing products.

Project management experience with small to medium projects.

Experience in HIS/PIS systems and pharmacy and nursing workflow.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.

Position involves pushing, pulling, stooping, bending and lifting.

Work Environment

Home‑based position with daily local travel and regional overnight travel. Ideal candidate resides close to a major airport.

Flexible working hours, including nights and weekends.

Up to 100% overnight travel.
