Data Center Security Specialist, DC Security

We are looking for a Data Center Security Manager (DSM) to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team, who will help manage and improve site security operations in our data centers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage physical security operations, develop post orders, define security procedures, handle site incidents.
Work with security equipment, participate in construction projects, drive day‑to‑day process improvement.
Ensure consistent deployment of all required security policies and procedures.
Participate in recurring site audits and reviews, testing new security technologies.
About the Team AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. This team keeps the cloud running by supporting all AWS data centers and ensuring reliable access to the innovative services our customers rely on.
Basic Qualifications
6+ months' experience in security roles, preferably in a data center or similar environment.
Knowledge of the administration and operation of access control systems (Lenel, Milestone) and CCTV systems with digital recording.
Additional education or training in security-related fields is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
College degree (Bachelor’s) or background in Military, Law Enforcement, TSA Security Screening, or Correctional Facility Officer.
2+ years of security experience or equivalent.
1+ year of leadership experience.
