Overview What We’re Doing

Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, engineers, develops, and integrates new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. We operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced environment, focusing on Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.

The Work Responsibilities

Support the C2BMC DevSecOps team to design, develop, test, implement, and integrate PKI solutions focused on code signing and key management operations.

Design and implement a certificate lifecycle management process.

Collaborate with architecture, engineering, operations, and support teams to integrate the PKI solution into the program in accordance with NIST 800-57 and CNS 1300 standards.

Ensure efficient and effective verification, evaluation, implementation, update, and maintenance of configuration compliance baselines using DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines.

Notes

This position requires a DoD government security clearance at the Secret level prior to start; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

The role will involve approximately 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

Who We Are As leaders of the C2BMC team, Lockheed Martin partners with industry leaders to develop and field the backbone of America’s missile defense. Our national team supports the design, development, testing, integration, and fielding of hardware and software elements essential for the effective operation of the Missile Defense System (MDS). You will interface with key customers, including the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). At C2BMC, you will work alongside a team of technical professionals, including software and systems engineers, architects, and project engineering teams.

Who You Are You are a dedicated professional with a strong background in cybersecurity and a passion for missile defense technologies. You thrive in collaborative environments and work well under technical direction to implement innovative solutions. Your experience with cybersecurity platforms and ability to engage with agile teams will be essential. You are experienced in building and administering cyber toolsets, collaborate well with others, and have a keen eye for process improvement.
