We provide customers with products and solutions within Fluid Power, Fluid Process, Fluid Conveyance, General Industrial Components, and Industrial Service & Repair. The position is remote, supporting our central Iowa customer base, with the expectation that the successful candidate is within reasonable commuting proximity to Cedar Rapids, IA.
Responsibilities
Design complete hydrostatic, hydraulic and electrical systems and conduct testing.
Provide technical assistance with microcontrollers, including systems design and programming.
Provide training to internal associates and customers.
Technically support all mobile products.
Interface with customers and vendors to resolve system conflicts, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
Produce electrical and hydraulic schematics using CAD.
Conduct technical testing for hydraulic/hydrostatic systems with data acquisition tools.
Conduct technical testing for electrical systems using frequency generators and VO meters.
Improve customer relationships from a technical viewpoint.
Maintain a strong interest in machine electronic control.
Qualifications
2‑year technical degree in Fluid Power or Engineering, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
2+ years of application engineering or support experience with hydraulic and/or electrical systems.
Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD design program.
Ability to interpret and create hydraulic schematics.
Fluid Power Certification is a plus.
