Wheeler 5 , our 23-bed adult unit that blends

medical/surgical, telemetry, orthopedic, and oncology care . As a Registered Nurse here, no two shifts are ever the same. You'll provide comprehensive care for a diverse patient population while collaborating with a skilled, multidisciplinary team. Reporting to nursing leadership, you'll play a vital role in ensuring safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care every day. Responsibilities

Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care using the full nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitor telemetry patients and support post-surgical, orthopedic, and oncology cases with specialized care. Create, implement, and update individualized care plans for patients and families. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate seamless care. Educate patients and families, empowering them with knowledge for recovery and self-care. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes with accuracy. Mentor and support colleagues through preceptorship, teamwork, and professional development. Participate in unit and hospital initiatives designed to improve patient outcomes. Advocate for patient rights, privacy, and dignity always. Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current Massachusetts RN license. BLS certification required. Previous medical/surgical, telemetry, or orthopedic nursing experience preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills. Excellent organizational abilities and customer service skills. Comfort with computers and commitment to confidentiality.
