Position Summary The Department of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in partnership with the North Carolina Children’s Hospital, is seeking a Pediatric Endocrinology Clinical Assistant Professor to support the Division’s clinical and academic missions. The faculty member will report directly to the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and join a well-established, multidisciplinary team, including board-certified pediatric endocrinologists, nurse practitioners, a clinical pharmacist, pediatric endocrinology fellows, pediatric residents, Certified Diabetes Educators, nutritionists, and nurses. Together, the team provides comprehensive care for children with endocrine and diabetes-related conditions.
Clinical responsibilities will include both inpatient and outpatient care of children with diabetes and other endocrine disorders. Outpatient clinics are located at UNC Children’s Specialty Clinics in Chapel Hill and Raleigh, NC, with regional care responsibilities as needed. Faculty are expected to participate in scholarly activities, including quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and medical education.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
MD or MD/PhD and board certified/eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Academic and clinical interest in Pediatric Endocrinology.
