Job Title Front-End Engineer (Staff & Principal Levels)

Location Hybrid in Nashville, TN – remote options available for the right candidates

Base Pay Range $170,000 – $220,000/year

Trusted by 40 of the Fortune 100, we're scaling rapidly and seeking a Front-End Engineer to lead the development of secure, performant, and intuitive interfaces across our platform.

What You’ll Do

Lead the development of privacy-first, accessible, and responsive UIs using React

Collaborate closely with backend, product, and design teams

Mentor and guide a small team of engineers

Help define and maintain scalable front‑end architecture

Use AI‑assisted tools (e.g., Claude) as part of the prototyping process, with a strong emphasis on testing error handling, edge cases, and state logic to avoid unintended behavior

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of front‑end development experience (Staff level) or 8+ years (Principal level)

Advanced proficiency with React, including Hooks, component architecture, and state management (Redux, Zustand, etc.)

Experience with interactive UI patterns: forms, real‑time updates, animations, etc.

Familiarity with using AI tools for prototyping or testing UI/UX (e.g., Claude, Cursor), with strong awareness of their limitations and impact on application behavior

Experience integrating REST APIs

Strong knowledge of web accessibility and usability principles

U.S. residency required

Demonstrated experience mentoring or leading engineers, regardless of title

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Python backends (FastAPI, Flask, Django)

Experience with server‑side rendering (preferably Next.js)

Familiarity with tools like Tailwind and Storybook

Experience building internal component libraries or design systems

Knowledge of WCAG/Section 508 accessibility standards

Experience in privacy tech, security, or highly regulated environments
