DVS is actively seeking a
Web Application / Database Software Developer
to support our team onsite in Huntsville, AL. This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain.
Key Responsibilities
Full‑stack web development for Publication Tracking Software (PTS) suite of products including websites PTS, Pubs Online, and MEO Online.
Database management.
Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and ensure software quality, reliability, and maintainability.
Basic knowledge of software, database and web application testing methodologies and best practices for manual testing, automated testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing.
Developing, testing, and documenting software and user manuals.
PTS customer support (telephone and email).
Required Qualifications
Experience in C#, .NET, ASP, AJAX, HTML, CSS, SQL.
Familiarity with build tools such as Visual Studio and code management tools such as Git.
Desired Technical Experience
Azure DevOps experience.
Entity Framework, .NET Core, MVC, XML.
Telerik Web UI, Telerik Reports.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively with limited supervision.
Physical And Mental Qualifications
Ability to handle multiple priorities and changes in priorities in an ever‑changing environment.
Maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.
Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English language.
Execute tasks independently and work as a team.
Learns and memorizes routine tasks.
