The Ready Plant Manager will manage an assigned territory of the ready mix organization, including the supervision of drivers, scheduling of driver and plant personnel with dispatch, coordination of job sites, management of plant operations and raw material management. Job Responsibilities

Exercise discretion and good judgment in supervising the hourly workforce, including hiring, directing, training, counseling, and disciplining employees. Conduct hourly employee performance reviews. Maintain plant housekeeping, environmental, and safety policy to comply with Company, State, and Local governing rules. Control and minimize plant costs while providing a consistent quality product. Measure raw material inventories and order and maintain inventory levels sufficient for plant operation. Possess thorough knowledge of the automated batch plant operation, including Ginco batch interface and optimization of control parameters. Provide preventative maintenance and repair of equipment as needed. Qualifications

Must be able to climb conveyor belts for maintenance. Must be DOT certified to manufacture concrete and concrete products. Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office applications. Good written and oral communication skills. High school degree or equivalent; some technical, vocational or education preferred. 3 years’ experience performing plant production duties. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Working knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulations. Willingness to relocate domestically. Working Conditions

Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, working outdoors. Must wear protective equipment at the location. Physical Requirements

Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. Job involves sitting most of the time, also walking or standing for brief periods. Regularly required to talk and hear to communicate safely around heavy rolling equipment. Perform all job functions which may include pushing, turning, pulling of controls. Legal Notices
