As we continue to expand across commercial, industrial, and utility‑scale markets, we’re looking for a Senior Solar Project Manager who can bring leadership, technical insight, and executional excellence to our growing project portfolio.
Position Summary The Senior Solar Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of complex solar and renewable energy construction projects. This role requires extensive construction management experience, a strong technical background, and proven leadership in managing large‑scale projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget — all while upholding Dispatch Energy’s commitment to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the execution of commercial solar, battery, fuel cell and other power generating projects from pre‑construction through commissioning and turnover to asset management.
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes with precision and accountability.
Lead and mentor project management teams, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
Ensure all construction activities adhere to Dispatch Energy’s safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Coordinate with permitting authorities, utilities, and clients to secure approvals and manage interconnections.
Review and manage all engineering drawings, specifications, and construction plans for accuracy and efficiency.
Identify and mitigate risks, manage change orders, and control project costs.
Facilitate stakeholder communication through regular progress reporting and meetings.
Conduct site inspections to verify progress, quality, and safety compliance.
Champion best practices in construction management, cost control, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
7–12 years of project management experience in construction, with at least 5 years managing solar or renewable energy projects.
Demonstrated success overseeing multi‑million‑dollar EPC projects from start to finish.
Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, BESS, interconnection processes, and energy storage integration.
Proven ability to lead diverse project teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
Proficiency in MS Project, Procore, Primavera, or similar project management tools.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
PMP certification or equivalent professional credential strongly preferred.
OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification required.
