Job Summary The Manufacturing Project Manager is a key role within the ARV team focused on ensuring that Rheinmetall products are produced on‑time, within budget and exceed the customer’s expectation for quality. The role directly oversees production‑related activities and functions that support manufacturing such as Supply Chain, Quality, IT, and Facilities. It also manages partner production efforts and establishes relationships with manufacturing partners.

Essential Functions

Work with partners and teammates to mature ARV’s Combat Vehicle prototype production capability in order to manufacture prototype combat vehicles.

Establish the required relationships to transition Rheinmetall production capability from Europe to the U.S.

Lead technology transition from European‑based manufacturing to U.S. capability, positioning Rheinmetall and ARV as best‑in‑class within the U.S.

Support the development of requirements, plans, and site development for a U.S. Vehicle Center of Excellence.

Manage all ARV manufacturing‑related activities.

Monitor workloads, review headcount requirements, and adjust staffing levels or reallocate resources to ensure required resources are available.

Develop and maintain department procedures.

Collaborate with the Engineering team to mature and transition processes and procedures for optimal production of ARV designs.

Manage relationships with all stakeholders to ensure performance is optimized.

Support and adhere to all company safety and environmental regulations & policies.

Initial transition will require European travel.

Undertake other duties as determined by the Vice President of Operations or delegate.

Minimum Qualifications

Proven experience establishing relationships with manufacturing partners and managing manufacturing efforts.

Experience with prototype production and the transition to production.

Experience working with U.S. DoD ground vehicle requirements.

Working knowledge of U.S. DoD processes and procedures for vehicle development and procurement.

Experience working with the U.S. Army TACOM and Ground Vehicle System Center.

Detailed knowledge and ability to ensure quality products are produced on‑time and within budget.

Experience leading manufacturing objectives to ensure on‑time delivery and cost targets.

Education Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Engineering.

Experience 10–15 years of relevant experience.

Background Prerequisites Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing.

Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Engineering.

Working Conditions And Physical Demands

Requires physical and mental capacity to perform all essential functions; includes lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Travel up to 30% to support production activities.
