Overview This position will support and grow community partnerships within Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation.

Ideal Candidate

At least 2-3 years of professional fundraising and/or sales experience.

Attention to detail, especially in a dynamic work week.

Experience in public speaking.

Job Description Summary May coordinate events, fundraising campaigns, volunteer groups and programs, manage relationships, and oversee fundraising databases and reporting. Will require occasional evenings and weekends.

Essential Functions

Coordinates fundraising events and campaigns.

Develops and maintains relationships with donors and sponsors.

Prepares reports on foundation activities and outcomes.

Collaborates with team members to achieve fundraising goals.

Ensures compliance with grant requirements and deadlines.

Education Requirement Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, required.

Skills

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable with people of all ages and backgrounds, and with public speaking and one‑on‑one communication.

Demonstrated personal initiative, devotion to hospital mission, and ongoing personal education and development.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to be a team player and display diplomacy/political savvy.

Ability to be entrusted with personal and confidential information and make ethical decisions.

Experience One year of fund‑raising, sales or relevant experience, preferred.

Physical Requirements

Occasionally: Cold temperatures, driving motor vehicles, ability to lift 21‑100 lbs, and other tasks listed.

Frequently: Lifting 0‑10 lbs, standing, and walking.

Continuously: Audible speech, computer skills, decision making, and related tasks.
