Supplier Industrialization Engineer (Onsite)

Purpose of the Role This position drives
supplier industrialization and quality assurance
for Powertrain & Electronics components produced in Mexico. The engineer will
manage supplier APQP and PPAP deliverables , ensure readiness for production, and maintain high standards of quality, cost, and timing.
The engineer will serve as a
key liaison between internal cross-functional teams and the supplier plant in Juarez , ensuring flawless new product launches and protecting ongoing production from supplier-related issues.
Typical Responsibilities
Oversee supplier industrialization timelines, tooling, and Run@Rate readiness.
Lead APQP and PPAP processes from design through production launch.
Review and approve supplier documentation, testing, and validation results.
Lead problem‑solving and root cause activities for process or quality issues.
Coordinate with Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Material Planning teams.
Support continuous improvement of end‑of‑line (EOL) and functional circuit testing (FCT).
Candidate Requirements Education
BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar).
MS preferred.
Experience
5+ years in PCBA manufacturing within Supplier Quality, Operations, or Process Engineering.
Strong background in Supplier Industrialization, APQP, PPAP, and Program Management.
Proven use of quality methodologies: IATF 16949, SPC, MSA, FMEA, DOE, GD&T.
Familiar with FCT/EOL testing equipment (Sifo, Athertek, GIT, Abtest).
Skills & Attributes
Analytical and data‑driven approach; strong technical writing ability.
Fluent in English and Spanish (Taiwanese a plus).
Excellent interpersonal and cross‑functional communication.
Hands‑on, problem‑solving mindset with passion for quality and delivery excellence.
