Business Solutions Manager at Ultimate Staffing Services | Realtor | Life Insurance Agent The Safety Manager is expected to rely on their extensive experience and expertise to fulfill the functions of the role with minimal supervision. This position requires the customary and regular exercise of discretion and independent judgment in the performance of the following essential duties:

Implements and maintains company-wide safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.

Conducts regular safety audits and workplace inspections across all four plant locations to identify and correct unsafe conditions.

Assists in developing and delivering employee safety training programs, including topics such as PPE, lockout/tagout, hazard communication, and emergency response.

Investigates with plant leadership on incidents, near misses, and accidents; documents findings, and recommends preventative measures.

Partners with Plant Managers and Supervisors to ensure safety procedures are consistently followed and integrated into daily operations.

Collects and maintains data on all safety events, compiles reports, and presents findings to site and senior leadership.

Supports site teams in promoting awareness of safety practices and expectations across all departments.

Evaluates workplace conditions and processes for potential risks and compliance gaps; recommends and implements improvements.

Coordinates safety‑related initiatives including fire prevention, hazardous materials handling, and environmental health practices.

Maintains SDS files and ensures up‑to‑date documentation across sites.

Collaborates with HR, Operations, and Maintenance departments on safety‑related matters and regulatory updates.

Supports continuous improvement efforts focused on safety and compliance.

Other duties may be assigned when needed.

Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred. Requires 2‑4 years of experience in a manufacturing safety role or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills Language: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety regulations, technical documents, and business communications. Ability to write reports and policies. Strong presentation and communication skills with all levels of the organization. Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred to support effective training and communication across sites.

Computer: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Reasoning: Ability to apply concepts such as statistical analysis, rates, ratios, and percentages to interpret safety trends and data. Ability to solve complex problems and manage multiple priorities across locations. Able to interpret regulatory requirements and adapt them to operational realities.

Other: Attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary. Ability to conduct instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations OSHA 30‑Hour Certification required; CSP or ASP preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to travel between locations (approximately 25‑30% travel required).
