Job Description This role provides technical expertise and the engineering required to support the design, development, implementation, and verification of new processes and technologies. The position may also serve as a corporate resource to all Engineering staff and USMS management teams.

Essential Duties

Plan, coordinate, and implement new equipment and technology required for continuous improvement, as assigned by site PE Management.

Develop periodic improvement plans and lead implementation for processes in an assigned product area or specific process technology to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.

Provide advanced technical support to other departments, including downtime analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of area‑specific technology or equipment issues.

Identify process parameter variation, coordinate data collection, analysis, action planning for reduction, improvement verification, and technical summary reporting.

Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams, contractors, vendors, and customers to ensure project schedules, budgets, and results are achieved with minimal impact to normal operations.

Specify, source, and procure necessary tooling, equipment, and resources required to complete assigned projects within established guidelines.

Provide technology transfer to Production technical staff to support new process launches and improvements.

Support all business objectives of the company by aligning Production Engineering activities with organizational goals.

Maintain strict confidentiality of information and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Follow all safety and quality policy standards.

Qualifications

Knowledge and proficiency in programming (C/C++, Python, etc.), PLC, and embedded systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.

Ability to develop and embed programming for company software applications.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Ability to work ethically and professionally in a collaborative environment.
