Senior Preconstruction Manager
to join their Charlotte team. With a long‑standing reputation for excellence in both base building and interior construction, this organization is known for its commitment to client relationships, employee development, and delivering exceptional results.
Position Overview The Senior Preconstruction Manager plays a critical leadership role during the preconstruction phase, ensuring projects are positioned for success from concept through execution. This individual will develop and manage detailed estimates, provide cost analysis during design and bidding phases, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and value.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all preconstruction activities for complex or multiple projects simultaneously.
Prepare detailed estimates across conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction phases.
Analyze cost models during design development and bidding to ensure project alignment with budget objectives.
Collaborate with project teams, architects, engineers, and clients to provide strategic input and value engineering solutions.
Ensure all estimates are complete, accurate, and reflective of project requirements.
Qualifications
8+ years of construction experience in preconstruction management.
Proven leadership experience guiding project teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in
Bluebeam
(PDF creation/modification).
Proficiency in
Timberline Estimating
software.
Experience with
Togal
or
On‑Screen Takeoff
software.
Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
