Radar Systems Analysis Engineer (Associate and Mid-Level) Join to apply for the Radar Systems Analysis Engineer (Associate and Mid-Level) role at Jobs via Dice. The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate or Mid-Level Radar Systems Analysis Engineer to join the Sensors Systems team in Tukwila, WA. This role involves working on the radar subsystem, including new development and upgrades that would be integrated onto the P-8 aircraft, and may include support for other sensor systems. This position offers opportunities to develop new solutions, mentor engineers, and guide candidates toward a Technical Fellowship.

Responsibilities

Develop and validate requirements for the radar system, and for other electrical/electronic, mechanical systems, interconnects and structures

Develop architectures to integrate complex subsystems and components into higher level systems and platforms

Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation and other analyses to predict performance and optimize design to meet requirements

Define and conduct critical tests to validate radar and sensor designs against requirements

Lead troubleshooting to resolve issues during Functional Check-Out, Production Acceptance Testing, and on the flight line for radar and other sensor systems

Manage supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance with requirements

Provide lifecycle support for products from manufacturing to customer use, guiding complex issue resolution

Support project management by coordinating work statements, budget, schedule, and reviews

Contribute to major sections of proposals for new business

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)

Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

2+ years of experience with design, integration, and test of electrical systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience)

5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience as a Technical Designer in aviation/aerospace

Experience with RF measurements (intermodulation distortion, phase noise, spurious) and S-parameters

Experience with electronics lab instrumentation (multiscope, TDR, Signal Analyzer, Network Analyzer, oscilloscope, MIL-STD-1553B test tools, Agilent Fieldfox RF Test Set, fiber optics, Ethernet)

Experience with product configuration management

Experience with high-frequency RF, digital, power and analog test systems

Experience leading engineering projects and effectively collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams

Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and navigate stairs

Willingness to work overtime to meet production/assembly schedules or integration lab schedules

Experience with UNIX/Linux command line

Ability to lead a team of technicians in fault isolation and troubleshooting of electrical wire assemblies and MIL-STD assemblies

Experience reading Wiring Diagrams and locating connectors and wire bundles on aircraft

Experience with manufacturing processes and MESci

Summary Pay Range: Associate: $85,850 - $116,150; Mid-Level: $104,550 - $141,450
