Base pay range $135,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

We’re seeking a seasoned

L4 Firewall Engineer

to join our growing security team. This is a

direct hire

opportunity offering full remote flexibility. You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and supporting enterprise-grade firewall solutions across a diverse infrastructure.

Requirements

8+ years

of hands‑on experience in firewall design, deployment, and support

Proven expertise in

Palo Alto ,

Zscaler , and

Checkpoint

technologies

Strong experience with

F5 load balancing

Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, NAT, and session‑based filtering

Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement Layer 4 firewall solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments

Manage and optimize firewall platforms including

Palo Alto ,

Zscaler , and

Checkpoint

Configure and maintain

F5 load balancers

for high‑availability and traffic distribution

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure network design and compliance

Troubleshoot complex network and security issues using advanced diagnostic tools
