As an Eligibility Technician 2 (ET2) in the Long-Term Care Unit, you will undergo formal training on various programs managed by the Division. The ET2 is expected to demonstrate extensive knowledge, proficiency, and the ability to work independently and efficiently while managing a diverse and sizable caseload under general supervision. They will develop expertise in program policies, enabling them to make independent, complex eligibility decisions and apply their understanding of multiple program manuals to ensure eligibility criteria are met across various programs. This position is part of a statewide eligibility team within the Long-Term Care Unit, located in Public Assistance offices across Alaska. You will collaborate with a team of highly trained staff who uphold the agency’s mission and values in an environment built on mutual trust and respect.
