Senior Metallurgist

The Senior Metallurgist will be responsible for the development and implementation of metallurgical processes that support product maintenance and development. Additionally, the senior Metallurgist will manage metallography lab personnel and operations.

Must have:

BS in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Engineering

7+ years proven technical experience in specialty alloys

Demonstrated experience in both research and the practical application of metallurgy/materials science processes within a manufacturing environment

High level proficiency in data analysis, applied statistics, process control, and measurement R&R

Demonstrated Continuous Improvement (such as kaizen, synchronous manufacturing, and Six Sigma tools) knowledge and experience

Mechanical testing and metallographic experience

Nice to have:

MS in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Engineering
