Full-time Nurse Practitioner for Urgent Care clinic MemorialCare Medical Group

Position Summary MemorialCare Medical Foundation is looking for an experienced full-time Nurse Practitioner to work at MemorialCare Medical Group's urgent care clinic in Costa Mesa, CA. This is a full-time, benefited position with a 3 x 12 schedule.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations

Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Formulate a differential diagnosis and establish a working diagnosis

Implement therapeutic intervention for specific conditions requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation by the supervising physician or other healthcare professionals

Must have 3-5 years of experience in urgent care setting

Proficient in the following procedures - casting, incision & drainage, suture, skin biopsy, toenail removal, simple cyst/warts removal, etc.

EMR NextGen – Prior experience with NextGen +

Working 3x12 shifts, will rotate through the weekend hours as well. Weekend shifts are 9-hour days.

Qualifications

Must have completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP

Working experience with NextGen system highly preferred

Licensed to practice in California

Current BLS and ACLS certification
