Revenue Specialist Location: 2000 16th Street, Denver, Colorado, 80202, United States of America.

Base Pay Range $19.00/hr - $25.50/hr.

Job Summary Full‑time, permanent opportunity. Schedules are Monday‑Friday daytime hours. The position is part of DaVita Kidney Care’s revenue operations team, focused on providing comprehensive and accurate billing and collections for dialysis services.

What Will You Do?

Perform revenue cycle duties, including processing patient insurance information through the intake process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of insurance claims, and collecting payment on outstanding patient balances.

Communicate with insurance payers to verify coverage and obtain accurate reimbursement for dialysis services rendered at our clinics.

Submit system setup requests to appropriate teams for accurate center and payer information loading into the billing system.

Respond promptly and accurately to payer communications.

Collaborate with other revenue operations teams to ensure seamless processes across departments.

Partner with clinic teammates such as insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators to maintain up‑to‑date insurance information.

Identify process changes and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Maintain current patient account information at all times.

Maintain confidentiality of all company and patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and DaVita policies.

Other Duties (Can Vary)

May be asked to work overtime as needed.

Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as required.

Follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and company procedures.

Experience and Required Skills

No previous healthcare experience is required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with regular interaction with insurance payors, employers, and cross‑functional teams.

Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities, capable of navigating diverse payer and patient scenarios.

Ability to adapt quickly and manage stress in a fast‑changing environment.

Strong relationship‑building skills, working effectively with multiple departments.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Training Provided by DaVita

Knowledge of revenue cycle, insurance rules, and regulations for federal, state, and managed‑care payers.

Understanding of medical billing and reimbursement practices.

Familiarity with DaVita billing and reimbursement systems.

Basic medical reimbursement terminology.

Basic knowledge of healthcare reimbursement accounting principles.
