Schwab Stock Plan Services
(SPS) provides a variety of solutions to large, publicly traded companies for the administration of their Equity Compensation plans. SPS offers full outsourcing capabilities for recordkeeping and employee services. What You’ll Do
Provide functional expertise on the proprietary equity compensation recordkeeping system (EquiView) as it relates to accounting guidance (ASC718 and IFRS2) and client regulatory reporting requirements.
Develop an understanding of overall stock plan record-keeping system (EquiView) architecture and functionality.
Develop proficiency of the Schwab EquiView financial reporting system from settings to expense and disclosure reporting calculations.
Field questions and educate clients on how EquiView retrieves and calculates report data, as well as how to structure awards in the system for accurate expense and disclosure reports.
Ensure the client has populated the database with key components for accurate reports.
Support Conversion Managers on proper set-up, configuration of valuation, and expense and disclosure settings based on client expectations, assist FRT team with onboarding new clients.
Identify system enhancement opportunities based on client needs and regulatory changes, perform system testing prior to product releases.
Respond to questions from prospective clients as they relate to EquiView financial reporting functionality.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of client-facing financial services experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively explain data and analysis in a compelling manner to clients and internal partners
Must be self-directed and self-motivated—able to work independently on a variety of tasks while achieving team-oriented objectives and collaborating with stakeholders where appropriate
Must be well organized and can handle stressful situations and prioritize competing deadlines
Demonstrate excellent critical analysis skills with a high attention to detail to improve existing processes and create innovative solutions
Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and ability to troubleshoot issues
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, arrays, etc. and ability to handle large data sets
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field

1+ years of stock-based compensation experience
Certified Equity Professional (CEP) certification
