Provide guidance to multidisciplinary teams through automotive electronics development activities. Act as the customer technical interface and provide project direction to ensure all tasks remain on time and budget. Lead all planning, scheduling, and development activities for a project. Perform complex assignments, often involving development of new or improved products, processes, and techniques. Analyze customer requirements and specifications. Define system and component operating requirements and control scheme. Prepare technical specifications for electrical/electronic components and system. Design control circuits, digital and analog. Create PCB layouts in compliance with customer requirements. Develop test specifications and coordinate product test setups. Interface to and direct PCB fabrication activities. Prototype and test new circuits. Supervise electrical testing for design verification. Assist production and test to resolve EE, instrumentation, system diagnostic, and control issues. Document work in compliance with ITAF 16949. Provide field support for customers. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Five (5) years of experience in digital electronics engineering. Five (5) years designing products with high-volume production, preferably automotive. Three (3) years using Altium Designer engineering CAD software. Working knowledge of automotive EE and electromechanical system specifications and requirements. Experience developing ISO 26262 compliant modules. Three (3) years creating automotive DFMEA. Strong communication skills. Customer presentation skills. Working knowledge of instrumentation and data acquisition systems. Preferred Qualifications
Experience using C and Assembly language in embedded programming. Broad electrical engineering skills. Thermal Management experience. Travel
