About the Role We’re hiring a skilled and motivated
BAS/DDC Sales Engineer
to join a growing team in
Dallas, TX . This role combines technical estimating, sales strategy, and project coordination—ideal for someone with a strong background in Building Automation and HVAC systems who thrives on driving results and building client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Perform surveys and take‑offs of DDC and HVAC systems
Develop accurate cost estimates including material takeoffs, equipment selection, labor calculations, and scopes of work
Prepare and submit proposals for both plan & specification and design‑build projects
Identify new business opportunities and generate leads
Build long‑term client relationships through regular networking with building owners, mechanical contractors, and MEP engineering firms
Deliver technical system presentations and demonstrations
Close sales by securing contracts or purchase orders
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure seamless project execution
What We’re Looking For
Experience in BAS/DDC sales, estimating, or HVAC system outside sales
Solid understanding of BAS/DDC systems, HVAC equipment, and electrical integration
Ability to assess existing building systems and recommend upgrades or solutions
Strong skills in reading and interpreting construction drawings and MEP specifications
Self‑motivated with the ability to manage time and priorities independently
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
“Hunter” and “farmer” mindset – able to both build and grow accounts
High sense of urgency and responsiveness to customer needs
Commercial awareness and professional demeanor
Base Salary: $80,000 – $95,000
(commensurate with experience)
