Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

Senior Accountant – Fixed Assets & Financial Reporting (requires relocation to Dallas, TX)
Key Responsibilities 1. Fixed Assets (Intangible & Tangible) and Capital Leases
Record and track fixed asset additions, disposals, impairments, and depreciation using ERP and fixed asset modules.
Maintain detailed records for intangible assets, including amortization and impairment testing.
Prepare capital expenditure reports covering budgets, actuals, and forecasts.
Reconcile fixed and intangible asset balances and identify issues between sub‑ledgers and the general ledger.
Prepare and post accurate journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
Collaborate with Treasury, Operations, and FP&A teams to ensure efficient asset tracking and accurate financial results.
Manage lease accounting and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

Timely and accurate financial reporting.
2. P&L Analysis and Monthly Close Support
Review and analyze monthly P&L results for assigned departments or cost centers.
Identify and explain variances between actual results and budget/forecast.
Prepare and issue accurate journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules.
Support internal reporting cycles, planning, and budgeting processes.
Continuously evaluate and enhance processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Consistent, accurate, and insightful financial reporting.
3. Audit and Compliance Support
Prepare account reconciliations and supporting documentation for external and internal audits.
Provide detailed analyses and schedules to support audit procedures.
Ensure timely completion and successful outcomes for all reviews and audits.

Timely completion and clean audit results.
4. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with other departments to analyze and interpret financial data.
Provide training and guidance to non‑finance staff to improve financial literacy and compliance.
Identify process improvements and recommend stronger internal controls.
Expected Results:
Improved operational efficiency and financial insight across teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years focused on fixed assets.
Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with ERP systems.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Google Suite.
Experience with fixed asset software (Sage or similar).
Good job tenure.
Strong work ethic and self‑starter.
