Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee and optimize our financial operations. The Controller will play a key role in supporting strategic growth, managing accounting processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing accurate financial reporting to leadership. This role requires a hands‑on, proactive financial leader capable of thriving in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Reports to: CEO
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger, and payroll
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax filings, and regulatory requirements
Supervise internal audits and maintain internal controls
Support external audits and liaise with external accountants
Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to the executive team
Help develop and implement financial policies, systems, and processes
Collaborate with leadership on financial planning and investment strategies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including controller‑level leadership
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Experience in merchant services, fintech, or high‑growth environments a plus
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or similar)
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
