Job Details
PLEASE NOTE: Although this position is 100% remote, you must live within a commutable distance to Jersey City, NJ because client visits / meetings are a big part of the responsibilities. Only candidates with extensive outside, B2B experience and a documented history of surpassing quota will be considered for this role.
Qualifications Needed
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Minimum 3 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, ideally in a hunter-style, outbound environment
Proven experience in cold calling, prospecting, lead generation, and quota achievement
Proficiency using CRM systems; Salesforce experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal and closing skills
Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Identify and secure new business opportunities across commercial and industrial verticals in the Buffalo territory
Conduct cold calls, in-person and virtual site visits, and product demonstrations
Generate leads and manage prospect pipeline using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
Cultivate strong internal and external customer relationships
Close deals and meet / exceed assigned quotas
Maintain CRM accuracy and report on pipeline and progress
Work autonomously as a self-starter in a fully remote sales environment
Travel locally to meet prospective clients and manage client relationships
