Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapy Specialist
Location:
1499 6th Street NW, Winter Haven, FL 33881
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, flexible hours
Salary:
Starting at $72,000+/year, based on experience
Incentives:
$10,000 sign-on bonus
Student loan assistance: $350/month indefinitely
We are seeking a
full-time Occupational Therapist
with a focus in
Hand Therapy
for our outpatient orthopedic center in Winter Haven, FL.
Who Should Apply
Newly licensed OTs with Level II fieldwork in hand therapy
OTs with 1+ year of current hand therapy experience
Certified Hand Therapists (CHT) – preferred but not required
Caseload Includes
Tendon injuries
Sprains and strains
Post-operative fractures
Splinting experience preferred

Collaboration with experienced hand surgeons
Access to a growing national Hand Therapy program
Mentorship available for CHT preparation
Responsibilities
Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy.
National registration and state licensure or registration REQUIRED to start.
Newly licensed OT graduates with level 2 fieldwork in hand therapy and Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 1 year current hand therapy
Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Valid state driver’s license
