IU Health Medical Group‑Metro Region is hiring! We are looking for an Advanced Practice Provider Supervisor to lead our Primary Care department.
Position Details and Qualifications
0.2 FTE dedicated administrative time
Must be board certified
Must have experience as an APP
Duties and Expectations
Serve as the primary point of contact for APPs in your specialty or location.
Advocate for top‑of‑scope work and independent billing practices.
Train on service line‑specific billing and coding.
Participate in recruiting interviews.
Report to service line leadership.
Provide input for annual review and Performance Development Conversations.
Identify didactic learning opportunities to foster professional growth.
Develop orientation plans for new hires; perform 30‑ and 90‑day retention meetings with new APP providers.
Assist with coordination of APP learner clinical experiences and education.
Complete appropriate Kronos and Oracle activities and expense reports as needed, or delegate as appropriate.
Maintain APP schedule to ensure clinical operations are maintained.
Collaborate with service line leaders to identify annual clinical goals, process‑improvement initiatives, and execute plans to accomplish these goals.
