Scope of the Project The Power BI Report Server Administrator will serve as the primary point of contact for all BI vulnerability-related findings, ensuring timely mitigation and compliance. The role focuses on managing, maintaining, and optimizing Power BI Report Server infrastructure, performing server migrations, managing upgrades, and ensuring enterprise-level BI deployment stability. Candidates will work closely with IT and security teams to review reports, identify vulnerabilities, and implement solutions. Prior experience with Tax environments and SDLC processes is required.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for all Power BI–related vulnerabilities.
Review BI security reports and coordinate mitigation with IT and security teams.
Manage Power BI Report Server environments including upgrades, patches, and migrations.
Monitor server performance, capacity, and availability for optimal operation.
Identify and resolve issues related to Power BI Report Server, such as data refresh failures and access problems.
Manage user permissions, roles, and access control.
Plan and execute complex server migrations (Windows Server, SQL Server, Power BI).
Provide training and knowledge transfer to staff regarding BI best practices.
Support Tax-specific applications and ensure compliance with Tax SDLC standards.
Required/Preferred Skills
Experience with Tax environments, applications, and Tax SDLC. Required 3 Years
Hands‑on experience with Power BI Report Server. Required 5 Years
Server migrations (Windows Server, SQL Server, Power BI). Required 5 Years
SQL Server (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS), including performance tuning and database management. Required 5 Years
Monitoring server performance and capacity. Required 5 Years
Troubleshooting Power BI Report Server issues. Required 5 Years
