Overview
ROLE:
Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other various establishments.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Perform and process X-Rays utilizing portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit these images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
Transport and unload portable X-Ray equipment from the company-provided vehicle and deliver it to the facilities for conducting examinations as ordered by physicians. It is essential to obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-Ray images.
Conduct EKGs, when necessary, and transmit the results to a Cardiologist for interpretation, if required.
Scan examination-related paperwork and billing documents on a daily basis in accordance with established protocols.
Maintain regular, efficient, and professional communication with colleagues, management, the dispatch department, and clients.
The aforementioned tasks and responsibilities represent only a portion of the overall duties of the Radiologic Technologist. All Radiologic Technologists are accountable for adhering to all relevant information regarding their job responsibilities as outlined in the complete job description, Associate Handbook, or as mandated by management, along with any additional duties as assigned.
Licensing, Certification, and Requirements
Maintain the required state licenses and/or ARRT certification, as well as health and operational requirements.
Possess a valid driver’s license in the applicable state, ensuring it remains in good standing at all times.
Vaccination against COVID-19 is mandatory for all individuals. Alternatively, those seeking an exemption must submit the appropriate documentation to support their request.
