Overview The Payroll Administrator III assists in the preparation of payroll reconciliations and ensures that payroll is accurately updated. They respond to payroll inquiries and perform payroll processing calculations as required. Position is onsite at our Carlsbad, CA location.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date payroll records, prepare payroll journal entries, and reconcile payroll general ledger accounts, including payroll accruals
Prepare monthly payroll accruals and payroll‑related reconciliations
Respond to all payroll‑related inquiries in a timely manner
Update payroll spreadsheets weekly and balance them with the payroll register
Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information and documents
Process and submit payroll reports in a timely manner
Maintain payroll records and file tax reports
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business
Minimum five (5) years of experience in Payroll
OR (9) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
OR (3) years of experience may be considered with a Master's Degree
Intermediate Excel Experience Required
Strong typing skills is a must
Familiarity with State and Federal Labor Laws & Overtime Calculations
Experience with processing manual checks, quarterly adjustments and amendments in ADP WFN
Additional Information
This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition of this job offer, you must be able to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s) as required by law.
Pay Range: $71,723 - $87,896 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
