Location: Onsite - Minneapolis

Compensation: $29.5/hr (W2)

Position Purpose Partners with HR and business leaders to establish a solid practice in support of the talent strategy for the respective business group. Acting as the first point of contact and supporting the business to oversee the recruitment workflow.

Key Accountabilities

Responsible for full end to end recruitment support and consultations related to one designated business line

Provide consultation, advice and recruitment support to hiring managers

Liaise with industry organizations, recruitment vendors and candidates

Independently generate candidate flow through a variety of sourcing channels, including internal postings, internet recruiting, proactive networking, employee referrals, researching and initiating other channels as appropriate

Identify appropriate sources and work with these sources to attract qualified candidates

Develop cost effective, efficient, creative and innovative solutions to sourcing challenges

Educate, consult and transfer knowledge of staffing processes, diversity, interviewing skills and legislation to hiring managers

Screen resumes and/or conduct telephone interviews to ensure candidates meet minimum recruitment criteria

Conduct interviews, provide support and counsel to hiring managers throughout the interviewing process

Gather and provide feedback/recommendations to both the candidate and hiring manager regarding strengths and development needs of the candidate to determine and select the most qualified candidate

Manage information and recruitment process through the Applicant Tracking System (People‑Click)

Participate in special staffing oriented projects as required

Knowledge And Experience

2‑4 years experience recruiting for positions up to Executive/Managing Director level

University Bachelor’s Degree

Possess or working towards AIRS Professional Recruiter Certification

Possess or working towards Certified Human Resources Management (CHRP) certificate – would be an asset

Experience working with e‑Recruitment tools and behavioural based Interviews

Skills And Competencies

Strong sourcing skills to locate candidates with rare skill sets

Excellent relationship building skills and proven ability to provide value added consultative service

Strong client service orientation in a leading financial services environment

Recruitment Support

Manage full lifecycle recruitment for entry‑level and internship roles, including creating and hosting virtual & in‑person events and executing targeted sourcing efforts through platforms like Handshake & WorkDay

Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract & recruit a high quality, diverse applicant pool for US Wealth Management

Manage interview scheduling process for all student and new‑grad roles

Manage end‑to‑end offer creation, background check and onboarding process for US WM interns

Support resume review and credential assessment for suitability of skills, experience and knowledge relative to position requirements using appropriate selection techniques

Occasionally conduct preliminary phone interviews/pre‑screens with selected candidates to further validate skills, experience and knowledge

Help build relationships with external organizations and schools through networking and special events

Foster relationships with students throughout the year to support hiring initiatives

Engagement & Events Support

Support planning, execution and attendance of on‑campus and internal events such as Orientation, Coffee Chats, Conferences, Information Sessions and Networking events at School / MN Office

Support the team with creation of presentation materials, on‑campus swag and lead or participate in special projects as required

Engage in digital networking; connect with students via one‑on‑one chats/group chats to positively impact the student experience

Regularly participate in activity on Connect, LinkedIn, Student / intern focused in‑person or virtual sessions with a focus on campus branding and promotion

Manage ad‑hoc administrative duties such as ordering office equipment and supplies for events, managing on‑campus swag materials, and inventory tracking

Assist the recruitment team with tracking of all campus recruitment data using WD / Phenom

Must‑have

Strong service orientation, collaboration, communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to manage high volume recruitment administrative duties coupled with a busy event schedule during peak recruitment cycles

A keen interest in recruitment and building a career in Human Resources

Ability to multi‑task, prioritize and work in a dynamic environment

Nice‑to‑have

Post‑secondary education in Human Resources Management or related discipline

Event Planning Skills And Experience (An Asset) Experience in event planning and coordination is highly desirable.
