Senior Executive at Thompson First Group Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Technical Recruiter
to join our team on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial, maintenance, electrical, and engineering environments. This position requires a proactive approach to sourcing and engaging skilled trades and technical professionals, building long-term relationships, and partnering with clients to fill critical roles efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle — from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and placement.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for maintenance, electrical, automation, and engineering positions.
Build relationships with hiring managers and understand their specific technical needs and culture fit.
Utilize a variety of sourcing methods including job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and industry events.
Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate experience, technical ability, and fit for roles.
Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
Stay up to date with market trends, salary data, and talent availability within industrial and engineering sectors.
Represent the company professionally and promote our brand in the local market.
Qualifications:
2+ years of recruiting experience in technical, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
Proven success sourcing candidates for roles such as Maintenance Technicians, Electrical Technicians, Controls Engineers, or similar.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills — able to build trust with both clients and candidates.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume recruiting environment.
Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and ATS platforms.
On‑site presence required; this is an in‑person position.
