Junior Sales Engineer base salary: $50,000 - $60,000 plus uncapped commissions.
Duties / Responsibilities
Provide quotes for 150kW Generac generators and below.
Manage a large volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
Prepare cost estimates with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
Provide technical and engineering information to both clients and contractors.
Analyze cost-benefit ratios for equipment, supplies or service applications; engineer or propose changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials and/or services.
Contribute to sales engineering by identifying short-term and long-range issues; provide information relevant to deliberations; recommend options and courses of action; implement directives.
Requirements
Previous experience with high-volume inbound and outbound calls.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Experience reading and understanding blueprints, schematics and related documents.
Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent sales and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Education / Experience
B.S. in Electrical, Application, Mechanical or Power Generation and/or 3-5 years of previous industrial sales or product training experience with electric equipment, preferably generators, switch gear or building management systems.
Minimum 1-year B2B sales experience.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
