Position Overview
The Seattle, WA office of Lewis Brisbois, a full‑service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Labor & Employment Practice.
Firm Background Lewis Brisbois’ Labor & Employment Practice represents clients from coast to coast in all phases and types of employment litigation, counseling, and training. Our team of employment professionals is spread throughout our locations across the United States and provides clients with sound counsel in dozens of jurisdictions, allowing us to deliver consistent representation nationwide.
Qualifications • Admitted to practice in Washington. • 3 to 4 years of experience in employment law matters, with prior employment litigation experience required (preferably on the management side). Employment counseling or in‑house employment law experience is preferred. • Strong writing and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. • Self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a team. • While prior employment law experience is preferred, we are also interested in talented attorneys with substantive litigation experience who demonstrate an interest in labor and employment law.
Responsibilities • Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings. • Draft, argue motions, and take and defend depositions. • Provide legal counsel to clients, governmental agencies, and opposing counsel in a high‑level capacity. • Participate in client representation, negotiation, and litigation strategy across the firm’s domestic and international practice.
Compensation & Benefits Minimum Salary:
USD $140,000.00/Yr.
Maximum Salary:
USD $170,000.00/Yr.
