PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
– The Property Management team is responsible for operating and maintaining our communities, building relationships, and working closely with residents, community partners, and fellow MidPenners, including the Resident Services team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Schedule income verification appointments, prepare and process lease agreements, and maintain the housing wait list.
Assist in the completion of re‑certifications, welfare exemption documents, Management and Occupancy (MOR) and Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) reviews.
Issue notices, schedule vacancies, and prepare and monitor turnover forms.
Assist in collecting rents, completing security deposits, logging petty cash use, and preparing bank deposits.
Inspect the property and identify maintenance and security issues.
Support working relationships with local law enforcement and emergency agencies.
Coordinate maintenance inspections with facilities staff and ensure work orders are processed in a timely manner.
Maintain resident and property files without compromising confidentiality.
Communicate procedures regarding emergency preparedness to residents and coordinate logistics for resident meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED and one year of residential property management, customer service, or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bilingual in English and Spanish
required.
Proficiency using MS Office and/or RealPage software system.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation with measurable results.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team‑based environment.
Well organized and detail‑oriented.
Valid California Driver’s License, proof of current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Constantly perform desk‑based computer tasks, frequently sitting.
Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 15 pounds.
Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl.

PAY RANGES $20.51 - $25.00 hourly – Pay based on applicable experience and qualifications.
