The Impact You Will Have Blue Cross Blue Shield MN is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Provider Relations team to drive the enterprise strategy for Stars quality and member experience measures. This is a non-technical business analyst role. In this role, you will lead the current state assessment of provider-based initiatives and member-direct initiatives driving performance in Medicare Stars/Quality and member-experience measures, review Stars/Quality performance data from Data & Analytics, prioritize areas for intervention, work with Provider Relations and business partners across the organization to design and launch initiatives, and manage status reports on related Stars initiatives. You will report to the Director of Medicare Network.

Your Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth research and analysis.

Identify trends, emerging issues and recommend best practices to ensure maximum results and develop metrics.

Document metrics and process changes.

Effectively analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, maintain and/or enhance systems through reporting and documentation.

Participate in and coordinate individual projects and related activities to ensure project progress on schedule.

Maintain adequate communication regarding project status, risks, issues, and priorities with sponsors and leadership.

Act as liaison with internal and external partners to identify opportunities and needs and develop implementation plans.

Represent customers or stakeholders while collaborating with business and technical units.

Serve as senior subject matter expert on content, processes, and procedures.

May lead project teams and provide training to lower level staff to achieve project milestones and objectives.

Required Skills And Experience

5+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience, including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience, will be considered.

Advanced collaborative, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop accurate and appropriate communications.

Advanced ability to communicate to all levels of management.

Advanced research, analytical and problem solving skills.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.

Strong ability to make decisions based on analysis and business needs.

Advanced ability to bring a different perspective to situations and challenge the status quo.

Project management skills.

Proven ability to work independently with guidance in complex situations.

High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills And Experience

Bachelor's degree

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Background in public health, population health, or healthcare

Experience driving execution on multiple workstreams simultaneously

Familiarity with Medicare Stars or HEDIS measures

Experience in data-driven decision making

Proficiency with PowerPoint and status reporting

Compensation And Benefits Pay Range:

$88,600.00 - $117,400.00 - $146,200.00 Annual Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
